How to use Post Conditions

Learn how to use FeedHive's Post Conditions to create advanced, event-driven posting behavior

How to use the Post Conditions feature

With FeedHive's feature, Post Conditions, you can create advanced conditional posting behavior with a few clicks.

It's perfectly suited for:

  • Plugging your e-books, course, or products in your most well-performing posts
  • Announcing flash sales and creating suspense with time limits and automatic reminders
  • Creating excitement and a more human-like posting behavior on your scheduled posts

Currently, post conditions is supported for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

How does it work?

On any comment or thread, you can add a Post Condition.

You can choose between the following conditions:

Above average

There is no configuration needed for this condition.
FeedHive will compare the main tweet with your other tweets and determine if it performs above average.
FeedHive uses a combination of impressions and engagement rate to make the decision.

If the main post performs above average, the comment or subtweet will be posted.

Delay

This allows you to specify a delay in minutes.
The comment or subtweet will be posted after the specified time.

This is a great way to create reminders for time limited sales offers, ala. "15 minutes left".

Likes

If the main post reaches the specified number of likes, the comment or subtweet will be posted.

Retweets

(Only available for Twitter)
If the main tweet reaches the specified number of retweets, the subtweet will be posted.

Comments

If the main post reaches the specified number of comments, the comment or subtweet will be posted.

Impressions

If the main post reaches the specified number of impressions, the comment or subtweet will be posted.

Engagement rate

This allows you to specify a minimum engagement rate after a certain amount of time. For instance, you can specify a condition to trigger only if the main post has an engagement rate of at least 3.5% after a minimum of 45 minutes.

If the main post holds this engagement rate anytime after the specified delay, the comment or subtweet will be posted.
