How to use Twitter Controls

Twitter Controls in FeedHive let you customize your Twitter experience like never before! Here is how to use them.

Publish type

You can post a message to Twitter that includes text, photos, a GIF, and/or video. Just type your Tweet (up to 280 characters) into the compose box, add the desired media, and schedule/post it.

You can include up to 4 photos, a GIF, or a video in your Tweet.

Retweet

A Retweet is a re-posting of a Tweet. FeedHive's Retweet feature helps you and others quickly share that Tweet with all of your followers. To schedule a retweet (which can be any tweet you want, not just your own), simply choose to publish type "Retweet" and paste the URL to the tweet into the editor. This will result in your account retweeting this tweet instead of publishing a new tweet.

However, you cannot add any additional text or subtweets to the Retweet.

Quote

The "Quote Tweet" feature allows you to share someone else's tweet with your own comment added. The original tweet doesn't count towards the character limit when you quote it. To quote someone, just choose the "Quote Tweet" publish type and then add the URL of the tweet you want to quote.

Auto remove

You can also remove the original tweet when the recycled variant is posted by turning on the toggle button for "Auto remove" in the Twitter controls section.

Retweet

Additionally, you can schedule a retweet by toggling the Auto retweet button and setting how many hours from now you want it to be posted.

Auto un-retweet

To un-retweet, toggle the un-retweet button and set how many hours from now you want it to be deleted. This will remove the Retweet from your timeline, but will not delete the original Tweet.
